The Italian GT Championship lands at Mugello

Next round of the CIGT on the Mugello circuit – next 8-10 October – for the last round of the 2021 GT Sprint series championship.
A race that promises to be very hard fought and decisive for the assignment of the tricolor title.
The current provisional ranking sees the two Audi Sport Italia drivers Riccardo Agostini and Lorenzo Ferrari at the top with 69 total points, thanks to the victory and second place obtained in the previous stage of Vallelunga.
Daniel – who will share the other Audi R8 LMS of the Audi Sport Italia team together with Vito Postiglione – is eager to achieve an excellent result after last year’s victory in the Endurance race and especially after the unlucky series of races in which he was the protagonist.
The points of Mancinelli and Postiglione will be fundamental for the awarding of the trophy that belongs to the best team in the series.
“After the various misfortunes in the last three races of the Italian GT Sprint championship, in which unfortunately we have not brought home any points, I am extremely confident of doing well at Mugello.” – Daniel said – “It’s a track with which I have a good feeling and where we won the Endurance race last year. There will be 42 total cars at the start, the unknown traffic in the race will be a constant for everyone.”
The two races of the GT Sprint will be broadcast live on the social channels of the ACI Sport promoter and on the ACI Sport TV channel (Sky channel 228) on Saturday afternoon from 3:40 pm and Sunday from 12:30 pm.
