The FIA WEC championship lands in Imola

The second round of the FIA WEC, the 6 Hours of Imola, will kick off this weekend – 19-21 April – with the series debut at the iconic Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
An event that promises to be exciting, with 14 manufacturers, 37 cars and 110 drivers coming from 28 different countries.
After second place in the Qatar Grand Prix, held last March 1-2, The Hearth of Racing team is more ready than ever to compete in an excellent race. Daniel, as always, will be joined by teammates Ian James and Alex Riberas with whom he will alternate driving the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo version #27.
“I am very excited for this appointment on the Imola circuit.” – Daniel said – “First of all because we know that our expectation will be to conquer the podium again and then because for me it will be my home race, on a circuit where I have raced since I started my career in 2006. I have a lot of confidence in car and the entire The Hearth of Racing team who I love being with. We have all started training hard to be ready. And then I will have the opportunity to meet some friends who will come to watch the race.”
The autograph session will be in Piazza Matteotti in Imola on Thursday 18 April starting from 4.30pm. The qualifying rounds will start on Saturday 20th from 2.45pm, while the 6H race will start at 1pm on Sunday 21st April and end at 7pm.
For those wishing to follow the race weekend, they can do so live on the fiawec.com website or live on TV on Eurosport and Mediaset Infinity.
