Mancinelli returns to the track at Mugello in the CIGT

Everything is ready for next weekend, July 12-13, at the Mugello International Circuit, where the second round of the Italian Gran Turismo Championship will take place.
Daniel will compete in the GTCup category, driving the Ferrari 296 Challenge prepared by the AF Corse team. The Italian driver will compete in the Pro-Am class, as his teammate will be Lebanese Gentlemen Driver Dabboussi, who has been competing in the Ferrari Challenge Europe since last year.
This event promises to be a record-breaking one, with more participants than any other event in the Italian Gran Turismo Championship.
In the GTCup category, 30 cars will battle it out for the podium, with teams competing with Lamborghini Huracan Supertrofeo Evo 2s and Porsche 992 GT3 Cups.
“I’m very happy to be behind the wheel of the Ferrari 296 Challenge, especially in the Italian GT championship, where I competed for many years until 2021,” – Daniel said – “Both the car and the Mugello circuit are very familiar to me. It will be truly exciting to return to racing on my favorite Italian track.”
The qualifying session is scheduled for Saturday the 12th, starting at 9:20 AM, followed by Race 1 at 3:00 PM. Race 2 will get underway on Sunday the 13th at 2:40 PM.
Those wishing to follow the race weekend can do so live on the Acisport.tv website and on Sky channel 228.
