A deserved podium

The closing weekend of the 2023 World Endurance Championship – 3-4 November – was definitely fantastic for the North West AMR team in the colors of Hearth of Racing. The drivers aboard the Aston Martin #98 in fact concluded the 8H of Bahrain in third position.
In qualifying, on Friday 3 November, Ian James managed to achieve an excellent sixth position on the starting grid.
During his first stint, which lasted around 2.5 hours, the team principal driver maintained a good race pace, handing the car over to Daniel in fourth position.
Mancinelli, during his stint, managed to always keep the car in the top 3-4 positions, despite a drive through due to a contact during a lapping.
Alex, who took to the track for the final stretch of the race, kept his race pace high and managed to take a well-deserved third place finish.
“An excellent race and an excellent performance.” – Daniel said – “We managed to end this season with a podium. I would like to thank the entire Heart of Racing team, my teammates and the sponsors who supported us in this championship. The goal for 2024 is to continue to race in the WEC which will see 18 GT3 cars take to the track next year, two for each team.”
