Daniel closes the season with a pole position

The weekend just spent on the Sonoma circuit (California) was already harder than usual, as Daniel and the Tr3 racing team had only two free practice sessions of 30’ available to try the circuit.
But as it has happened during the season, Mancinelli has amazed everyone, winning a stunning pole position.
At Race 1, a small hesitation slammed the Italian driver in second place, forcing him to track the Cadillac #8.
Although Daniel was faster, a deterrent on the track caused the left front tire to be damaged by losing 4 positions and forcing him to finish the race in P5.
In Race 2, a good start from the second row allowed Mancinelli to move to P3, but a collision at the second curve with the McLaren #9 encounter when the riders were paired, causing the opponent a spin.
The race management decided to penalize Daniel with a 2-minute pit stop.
At the restart of the race, the Italian driver surprised everyone one more time by signing the fastest lap of the race, but due to penalization, he couldn’t move beyond the P15.
“It was not the weekend we hoped for after winning the pole position. Unfortunately, however, sometimes races are like this.” – Daniel said – “ It was however a beautiful debut season with 2 pole positions, 3 wins, several podiums and a fourth final position in the championship. I have to thank the Tr3 Racing team for the commitment and the work done and all the partners that followed us this year.”
