Engines turn on again

It is now very short at the beginning of the 2018 season that will see Daniel engaged in the Pirelli World Challenge GT Sprint Championship aboard the Ferrari 488 GT3 of the Tr3 Racing team, a team with whom he has already raced last year and with which he achieved excellent results.
In preparation for the new season, on 12 and 13 February, Mancinelli went to Forlì at the Driver Performance, a specialized center for pilots and sportsmen, for a general check up and a preparatory training for the season.
In this process the Italian driver was followed by Stefano Elia and Josè Poletti, owners of the center.
The first step was to perform a technical assessment of current physical conditions, focusing on strength, endurance, coordination and reflexes.
From a good starting point, Daniel has followed a training course aimed at further improving reflexes and coordination in stress situations, in order to reduce the reaction times that can be significant in some situations such as race starts, brawl and dubbing traffic.
Finally the technical staff of the center performed a post-workout manipulation to relax and regenerate the muscular and articular part involved in the treatment.
The final response was an excellent aerobic capacity and post cardiac stress recovery.
Last week Daniel was also involved in the shakedown of the Ferrari 488 GT3 based on the new aerodynamic kit on the “home” track of the Tr3 Racing team at Miami-Homestead Speedway.
The result was very positive and the data collected will be essential for the team to improve the set up of the car on the race weekends.
We remind you that the next appointment is for the weekend of 09-11 March at the St. Petersburg circuit, in Florida, for the first race of the Pirelli World Challenge GT Sprint.
For those wishing to follow the race weekend, you can do it live streaming on http://motortrendondemand.com and on TV on the CBS Sport Network channel, Saturday 10 starting at 3:50 pm (21:50 Italian time) with race 1 and Sunday, March 11th, starting at 3:15 pm (21:15 Italian time) with race 2.
