Daniel get fourth place in the overall standings

The weekend just spent on the Road America circuit, the third event in the GT Sprint series, was really positive.
Daniel and the Tr3 racing team managed to get two good four places, winning important points for the championship.
In qualifying, the Italian driver had to settle for a fifth place: despite the Ferrari 488 GT3 has the potential to bet on the podium, during the good lap with new rubber a slower car slowed down Daniel causing the loss of a couple of precious tenths.
In race 1, after a good start, also thanks to the bagarre of the first two cars, the Bentley #88 and the Cadillac #3, Mancinelli was able to take third place. The Cadillac #3, however, thanks to its top speed, overtaken Daniel on the long straight line of the finish, forcing him to finish the race in fourth place.
In Race 2 the Italian driver still start in P5. After the first safety car, due to a big crash on the straight line leading to curve 5, Daniel managed to take the Cadillac #8 attack to the same curve, succeeding in finishing race 2 in P4.
“In this race we suffered a lot the lack of high speed in the long straight lines.” – Daniel said – “Despite all, we have brought home important points in the Overall Championship that allowed us to jump to P4. The Tr3 racing team once again worked flawlessly, making the Ferrari 488 GT3 at its best.”
Next event, which will feature Daniel again in the GT Sprint series, is scheduled for July 28-30 at the Mid-Ohio circuit.
